Moonstones – Pachyphytum Oviferum

Pachyphytum oviferum aka Moonstones are the most fantastically beautiful succulent plants.

Moonstones clearly got their name for a reason – their leaves have a plump and round shape and an attractive colour hued with a powdery coating.

Like most succulents Moonstones can be propagated fairly easily from a leaf cutting.

Once you fall in love with Moonstones you may find yourself propagating them by the dozen and giving plants to friends (or keeping them for yourself).

You should avoid touching the leaves so as not to wipe off the coating.

As you can see below you may be lucky enough to see the most beautiful white flowers if the plant blooms.

There is also another variety Pachyphytum Oviferum Pink Moonstones, which have a more pinkish hue.
